1 Injured in DWI Crash on Big Spring Street in Midland; Sage Keeney Arrested

Man Injured in Midland Two-Vehicle Crash on Big Spring Street; Sage Keeney Arrested

Midland, Texas (August 23, 2022) – A man was injured Saturday night in a DWI crash in Midland, according to a local news source.

The crash happened on August 20, on N Big Spring Street.

According to the report, Sage Allen Keeney, 21, was trying to start fights inside a bar and was escorted from the building by an off-duty officer with the Midland Police Department who was working security at the bar.

Keeney then got into a vehicle where he recklessly accelerated and crashed into another vehicle in the parking lot.

A man was pinned between the two vehicles and was rushed to the hospital with a badly injured leg.

Keeney was arrested and taken to the Midland County Detention Center. His bond was set at $50,000.

An investigation is ongoing.
