Woman, Three Juveniles Injured in Dallas Crash at Interstate 20 and Polk Street

Dallas, Texas (July 29, 2022) – A woman and three children were injured in a traffic collision early Friday morning in the Red Bird area of Dallas, according to a local news source.

The crash occurred at about 1:00 a.m. near the intersection of Interstate 20 and Polk Street.

As per the local news report, the woman was driving northbound on Polk Street when she failed to stop at a stop sign and was struck by a pickup truck that was traveling westbound on the frontage road.

The woman was transported to a hospital, where she was listed in critical condition. Her three juvenile passengers had minor injuries.

The driver of the pickup truck was not injured.

Police temporarily closed the intersection as they investigated the crash.
