Kristian Alvarado Killed in Arlington Two-Vehicle Crash on Oak Street at North Street

Arlington, Texas (December 23, 2022) – One person was killed Wednesday morning in a two-vehicle crash in Arlington, according to the authorities.

The fatal crash happened around 7:57 a.m., December 21, in the 400th block of N. Oak Street at W. North Street.

Authorities said a Chevrolet Malibu was traveling southbound when it ran a stop sign at the intersection and struck a Mercedes Metris van that was traveling westbound through the intersection on North Street.

The Malibu driver, 29-year-old Kristian E. Alvarado, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The van driver was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
