Ayden Randle Dies Three Days after Ellis County ATV Crash at Boz Road and Greathouse Road

Ellis County, Texas (September 21, 2023) – The Tarrant County Medical Examiner has identified the second teen who died three days after a traffic accident involving an ATV on Saturday in Ellis County as 14-year-old Ayden Randle of Waxahachie.

The deadly crash happened took place on Sunday, September 17, near the intersection of Boz Road and Greathouse Road.

Authorities said a 16-year-old girl was driving a Polaris ATV when she failed to stop at a stop sign and collided with a pickup truck.

Ayden, who was a passenger in the ATV, was transported to a hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries on Tuesday.

12-year-old passenger Wyatt Randle, Ayden’s brother, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver and another 14-year-old girl were also transported to the hospital. Two 70-year-olds, a man and a woman, in the pickup truck were also taken to the hospital.

No further details were immediately available.

DPS is investigating the crash.
