Woman Hit, Injured by Vehicle on Loop 410 in San Antonio

Woman Injured in San Antonio Pedestrian Accident on Loop 410 at Bandera Road

San Antonio, Texas (March 22, 2023) – A woman was hospitalized after she was struck by a vehicle Wednesday morning in San Antonio, according to a local news source.

The crash happened at around 6:00 a.m. on NW Loop 410 Southbound at Bandera Road.

As per the report, a man was traveling to work on Loop 410 when he saw a female pedestrian on the left-hand side shoulder.

The man reportedly swerved to avoid hitting the pedestrian but was unsuccessful. After hitting the woman, the vehicle crossed a few lanes and the frontage road, where it crashed.

Authorities said the woman suffered a “deformity” to her ankle and some scrapes. She was transported to the hospital for treatment.

The driver was not injured.

The crash remains under investigation.
