2 Injured in 2-Vehicle Crash on FM 400 in Lubbock County

Driver, Passenger Hospitalized after Lubbock County Crash on FM 400 near Buffalo Springs Lake

Lubbock County, Texas (April 22, 2022) – Two people were injured in a traffic collision involving two vehicles in Lubbock County late Friday morning, according to a press release from the Texas Department of Public Safety.

The two-vehicle crash was reported shortly before noon on FM 400 near Buffalo Springs Lake.

As per the DPS report, a truck tractor semi-trailer was heading southbound on FM 400 when it tried to make a left turn into a private driveway.

As the truck was turning, a car behind it started to pass on the left. For an unknown reason, the two vehicles collided.

The driver and passenger of the car sustained minor injuries in the crash. Both patients were transported to UMC for treatment.

Further details regarding the crash were not immediately provided.

An investigation is underway.
