Man Killed in San Antonio Bicycle Accident on Interstate 10 West near Milsa Drive

San Antonio, Texas (February 5, 2019) – A man was killed in a fatal bicycle accident involving a hit-and-run driver on the far North Side on Monday afternoon.
According to the San Antonio Police Department, the crash happened at about 5:15 p.m. February 4 on the access road in the 21000 block of Interstate 10 West near Milsa Drive.
Police said a man in his 40s was riding a bicycle when he was rear-ended by a white BMW SUV. The driver of the SUV continued and struck another car.
The rider was pronounced dead at the scene. The woman driving the SUV was arrested on suspicion of DUI and fleeing the scene of the accident.
Police did not release the identities of the parties involved in the crash.
The incident is under investigation.
