Bicyclist Struck, Killed by Vehicle on Beaumont Highway in Harris County

One Killed in East Harris County Bicycle Accident on Beaumont Highway

Harris County, Texas (April 22, 2020) – According to deputies, a bicyclist was struck and killed by a vehicle Tuesday night in northeast Harris County.

The fatal crash happened around 10:00 p.m., April 21, in the 12600 block of Beaumont Highway.

Deputies said a Buick sedan was traveling in the right lane of the highway when it struck a male who was riding a bicycle.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.

The driver remained at the scene after the accident.

The crash remains under investigation.
