Brazos County Sheriff’s Deputy Injured in Bryan Hit-and-Run Crash on North Harvey Mitchell Parkway and Providence Avenue; Ashley McNabb Arrested

Bryan, Texas – A Brazos County sheriff’s deputy was injured Sunday night in a hit-and-run accident in Bryan, according to the authorities.

The crash happened on December 17, on North Harvey Mitchell Parkway and Providence Avenue.

Authorities said Ashley McNabb reportedly pulled out in front of the deputy, causing the deputy to crash into her car.

McNabb then fled the scene on foot. Police later found her at a friend’s apartment. When they asked her why she ran, she told them she had warrants out for her arrest. She is now being held on a $30,000 bond.

The deputy sustained injuries in the crash and was taken to the hospital for treatment.

The crash remains under investigation.
