Cecil George Killed in Stafford Two-Vehicle Crash on Murphy Road at Greenbriar Drive

Stafford, Texas (September 13, 2023) – A man was killed Sunday morning in a hit-and-run accident in Stafford, according to the police.

The fatal crash happened around 6:17 a.m., September 10, in the 13100 block of Murphy Road at the intersection of Greenbriar Drive.

Police said Cecil George, of Stafford, and his brother were leaving a Whataburger restaurant in the area and were stopped at a red light at the intersection. Jose Antonio Pina Tenorio, 20, was driving southbound on Murphy Road at a high rate of speed when he rear-ended the stopped vehicle.

George, who was driving the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene. The condition of his brother was not disclosed.
