Cecil Wade Walker Killed in Austin Pedestrian Accident on Interstate 35 near FM 1626

Austin, Texas (June 7, 2019) – A man was killed in a pedestrian accident Monday morning in south Austin, according to a local news source.

The deadly accident happened at about 5:38 a.m. June 3, on Interstate 35 near Farm to Market Road 1626.

Police said Cecil Wade Walker, 49, was on the highway when he was hit by a southbound Mercedes.

Walker was killed in the crash.

The Mercedes driver remained at the scene.

An investigation is ongoing.
