Charles Main Killed in Tyler Motorcycle Crash on Highway 31 at Patton Lane; Jeremy Cisneros Arrested

Tyler, Texas (May 25, 2023) – A motorcyclist was killed Tuesday afternoon in a hit-and-run accident in Tyler, according to the police.

The fatal crash happened around 3:45 p.m., May 23, on Highway 31 W and Patton Lane.

Police said Jeremy Cisneros, 19, of Smith County, was driving a pickup truck when he collided with a motorcycle ridden by Charles Main, 55, of Chandler.

Cisneros fled the scene but later turned himself into the Smith County Jail on Wednesday, where he was booked on a charge of accident causing serious bodily injury or death, a second-degree felony, with a $75,000 bond.

Main was pronounced dead at the scene.

The police are investigating the crash.
