Child Killed in Marshall Pedestrian Accident on Lower Port Caddo Road

Marshall, Texas (September 20, 2023) – A child was hit and killed by a car Monday evening in Marshall, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened around 6:40 p.m., September 18, in the 2000 block of Lower Port Caddo Road.

Police said the child was riding a battery-powered toy car when they were struck by a vehicle.

The child was killed in the crash. Their identity has not been released.

The driver remained at the scene after the accident.

The police are investigating the crash.
