Las Cruces Man Killed in Hit-and-Run Crash on US Hwy 67 near San Angelo

36-Year-Old Las Cruces Man Killed in San Angelo Pedestrian Accident on US Highway 67

San Angelo, Texas (May 31, 2020) – A 36-year-old Las Cruces man was killed early Sunday morning in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident, two miles southwest of San Angelo, according to the DPS.

The deadly accident took place around 2:35 a.m. on US Highway 67.

DPS said the man was walking in the northbound lane of the highway when he was struck by a vehicle.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver fled the scene after the accident and has not been located.

No further details were provided.

The authorities are investigating the crash.
