Deputy Ethan Straley Injured in Angelina County Two-Vehicle Crash on State Highway 103 East

Angelina County, Texas (December 14, 2019) – An Angelina County Sheriff’s Office deputy was injured in a rear-end crash Thursday night in Angelina County, a local news source reported.

The crash occurred on Thursday, December 12, on State Highway 103 East.

Authorities said Deputy Ethan Straley’s patrol car was rear-ended by another vehicle on the shoulder of the highway.

Deputy Ethan Straley was taken to the hospital with minor injuries and was later released.

The driver of the other vehicle was airlifted to a Houston hospital in an unknown condition.

The crash remains under investigation.
