Man Injured in Houston Pedestrian Accident on Westheimer at West Loop

Houston, Texas (May 23, 2023) – A pedestrian was injured Monday evening in a crash near the Galleria area, according to the police.

The accident happened just before 2:00 p.m., May 22, on Westheimer along the West Loop.

Police said a man was walking across the street, outside of a crosswalk, when he was struck by a vehicle.

The man was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

The driver showed no signs of intoxication.

The police are investigating the crash.
