2 Injured in 5-Vehicle Crash on Expressway 83 in Alamo

Two Injured in Alamo Five-Vehicle Crash on Expressway 83

Alamo, Texas (March 1, 2022) – Two people were injured, and a man was arrested Friday morning following a five-vehicle crash in Alamo, according to the authorities.

The crash happened around 8:27 a.m., February 25, on Expressway 83 between Alamo and Tower Road.

Authorities said DPS attempted to pull someone over, but he refused to stop, and he caused a wreck involving five vehicles in the westbound lanes of the expressway.

One of the vehicles that was hit by the suspect lost control and flipped over. The driver of that vehicle was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

A second driver was also taken to the hospital for treatment.

The suspect attempted to flee the scene after the crash but was arrested. He is facing charges of evading arrest, evading arrest on foot, and other charges are currently pending.

The crash remains under investigation.
