Man Killed in Hit-and-Run on Longpoint Road in Houston

Houston, Texas – A man was killed Tuesday evening in a hit-and-run accident in northwest Houston, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened on March 26, on Longpoint Road near Antoine Drive.

Police said a black Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck was traveling eastbound at a high rate of speed when it struck the man who was crossing the street.

The impact threw the man into the parking lot of a business. He was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.

The Chevrolet fled the scene after the accident and the authorities are looking for it.

The police are investigating the crash. Anyone who might have seen the Chevrolet is asked to call HPD at 713-884-3131 or HPD’s crash division at 713-247-4072.
