Child Hospitalized after Waco Pedestrian Crash at 12th Street and Ross Avenue

Waco, Texas (April 25, 2019) – A child was struck and injured by a vehicle on Tuesday afternoon in Waco, police said.
The crash took place around 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 23, near 12th Street and Ross Avenue.
Police said the boy playing in the Kate Ross Apartments ran into the roadway to pick his ball and was struck by an SUV that was traveling on Ross Avenue.
The child was transported to Baylor Scott and White Hillcrest with a broken leg.
No details were provided on the driver involved.
Police are investigating the incident.
