Minor Injuries Sustained in San Angelo Collision at Abe Street and Beauregard Avenue

San Angelo, Texas (May 7, 2022) – Injuries were reported following a Friday morning traffic collision in  San Angelo, according to the San Angelo Police Department.

The crash took place at the intersection of Abe Street and Beauregard Avenue on Friday, May 6.

Police said a tan Toyota passenger car was heading southbound on Abe Street in the middle lane when the driver tried to turn left onto Beauregard Avenue. In the process, the passenger car drove into the path of a white Toyota SUV that was also traveling southbound on Abe Street.

The SUV eventually hit the passenger car.

Authorities said the crash resulted in minor injuries. No one was hospitalized.

No further details about the collision were immediately provided.

The accident remains under investigation.
