Gage Aaron Thornton Killed in El Paso Pedestrian Accident on Interstate 10 near Horizon

El Paso, Texas (October 8, 2019) – The pedestrian who was fatally hit by a vehicle Saturday night in El Paso near Horizon has been identified as 19-year-old Gage Aaron Thornton, according to the authorities.

The accident happened around 7:15 p.m. on October 5, on I-10 East at mile marker 38.

Deputies said Thornton was hit by a car for unknown reasons on the interstate.

Thornton was killed in the crash.

The accident closed all lanes between mile marker 39 and 42.

No other details were provided.

An investigation is underway.
