Donald House ID’d as Motorcyclist Killed in Hardin County Crash on U.S. Highway 96 at Andover Drive

Hardin County, Texas (November 3, 2023) – The Texas Department of Public Safety has identify the motorcyclist who died following a traffic crash last week on Wednesday in Hardin County as Donald House, 52, of Nederland.

The deadly crash happened at about 6:48 p.m. Wednesday, October 25 on U.S. Highway 96 at the intersection of Andover Drive.

DPS said House was riding a Harley Davidson motorcycle northbound on U.S. Highway 96 when a 2010 Chevrolet Silverado pickup traveling on Andover Drive failed to yield to House at the stop sign and entered into his path.

Houses ‘motorcycle reportedly struck the pickup on ots driver’s side.

Hoise was transport to St. Elizabeth Hospital, where he was declared dead. The driver of the pickup, Donald Camley, 93, of Silsbee, did not suffer any injuries.

Camly was charged for failing to yield right of way at a stop intersection.

The crash remains under investigation.
