Man Hospitalized after Denton Pedestrian Accident at MedPark Station
Denton, Texas (March 2, 2019) – A man was hospitalized after being struck by a passing DCTA Commuter Train Friday night in Denton, according to the police.
The accident happened at an unspecified time on Friday, March 1, at the MedPark Station.
Police said the man was crossing the tracks at the pedestrian crossing when he was hit by the train.
Firefighters responded to the scene and had to perform a technical rescue to free the man who had become trapped under the train.
The man was transported to a local hospital with a serious leg injury.
The police are investigating the crash.
