Christen Brewer ID’d as Woman Killed in Longview Crash on U.S. 259 at Judson Road
Longview, Texas (October 17, 2022) – The woman who died Sunday, two days after a traffic crash north of Longview has been identified as Christen A. Brewer, 28, of Jefferson.
The crash occurred at around about 1:40 p.m. Thursday, October 13, on U.S. 259 at Judson Road, about 2 miles north of Longview.
Authorities said Brewer was driving eastbound on Judson Road at the intersection of U.S. 259 when she failed to yield the right of way to a pickup that was traveling southbound on U.S. 259., being driven by 48-year-old Lagena M. Davis of Lone Star,
The pickup hit the driver’s side of Brewer’s car.
Brewer was taken to UT Health in Tyler, where she died from her injuries on Sunday.
Davis sustained non-incapacitating injuries but declined hospitalization.
Brewer and Davis were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash.
Further details regarding the collision were immediately provided.
The accident remains under investigation.
