Christopher Favela Killed in Houston Motorcycle Crash on East Freeway

Houston, Texas (August 15, 2021) – According to the authorities, a man was killed early Sunday morning in a motorcycle crash in Houston.

The fatal crash happened around 5:45 a.m., on the East Freeway.

Authorities said Christopher Favela was riding his sports motorcycle eastbound on the freeway and was weaving through traffic when he rear-ended a vehicle driven by Stephanie Franco.

The impact ejected Favela from his motorcycle, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Franco was uninjured in the crash.

The crash closed the freeway for several hours.

The Harris County Sheriff’s Vehicular Crimes Division is investigating the crash.
