Construction Worker Injured in Tyler Pedestrian Accident on Highway 155

Tyler, Texas (November 11, 2022) – A construction worker was injured early Thursday morning after being struck by an alleged drunk driver in Tyler, according to the DPS.

The accident happened around 12:38 a.m., November 10, on Highway 155.

DPS said the construction worker was in a mower when a driver hit the mower as well as two pickup trucks owned by the construction company.

The construction worker was taken to the hospital for treatment.

The driver was arrested for driving while intoxicated.

The troopers are investigating the crash.
