Dallas Scott Paschall Killed in Bell County Two-Vehicle Crash at Leona Park Lane and SH 36

Bell County, Texas (December 8, 2020) – One person was killed in a two-vehicle crash Monday afternoon in Bell County, according to the Texas DPS.

The fatal crash happened around 1:25 p.m., December 7, at the intersection of Leona Park Lane and SH 36.

DPS said Dallas Scott Paschall, 20, of Temple, was stopped in a 2001 Acura CLS sedan at a stop sign at the intersection. A 2004 Peterbilt truck tractor semi-trailer was traveling northbound on SH 36.

Paschall failed to yield right of way at the stop sign and pulled into the path of the truck tractor. The Acura was then struck on the driver’s side by the truck tractor.

Paschall was pronounced dead at the scene.

A 22-year-old male passenger in the Acura was taken to the Scott and White ER with incapacitating injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.

We pass our sincere condolences to the family and friends of Dallas Scott Paschall.
