David Soto Killed in Amarillo Pedestrian Accident on East Amarillo Boulevard

Amarillo, Texas (July 8, 2019) – A man was killed in a pedestrian accident Sunday evening in Amarillo, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened on Sunday, July 7, in the 3500 Block of East Amarillo Boulevard.

Police said David Soto, 66, of Amarillo, was walking when he was hit by a pickup, then run over by a car.

Soto was pronounced dead at the scene.

No further details were provided.

An investigation is underway.
