Dawson Gowin Killed in Midland Two-Vehicle Crash at Andrews Highway and Midland Drive

Midland, Texas (January 24, 2022) – A man was killed Sunday morning in a two-vehicle crash in Midland, according to the police.

The fatal crash happened around 12:50 a.m., January 23, at the intersection of Andrews Highway and Midland Drive.

Police said a Lincoln SUV was traveling eastbound on Andrews Highway while Dawson Garrett Gowin, 21, was driving a Crown Victoria. 

Gowin failed to control his vehicle and rear-ended the Lincoln SUV.

Gowin was killed in the crash.

No other details were provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
