Devonere Harris Killed in South Austin Motorcycle Crash on Congress Avenue near West Slaughter Lane

Austin, Texas (April 6, 2022) – The man who was killed Thursday night in a motorcycle crash in South Austin has been identified as 28-year-old Devonere Rashaad Harris, according to the police.

The deadly crash happened around 7:15 p.m., March 31, in the 8700 block of South Congress Avenue, near the intersection of West Slaughter Lane and I-35.

Police said Harris was riding a motorcycle southbound when he collided with another car.

Harris was killed in the crash.

The driver of the car remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.
