Driver Killed in Chain-Reaction Crash on IH-30 in Grand Prairie

1 Killed and 2 Injured in Grand Prairie Multi-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 30

Grand Prairie, Texas (June 21, 2023) – One person was killed, and two others were injured early Sunday morning in a chain-reaction crash in Grand Prairie, according to the police.

The fatal crash occurred around 3:00 a.m., June 18, in the 4700 block of E IH‐30.

Police said a Ford pickup truck was traveling westbound when the driver failed to control his speed and struck slow‐moving traffic ahead, causing a chain reaction crash.

One of the drivers was killed in the crash. Their identity has not been released.

Two other people were taken to the hospital with non‐life‐threatening injuries.

The police are investigating the crash.
