Dustin Ross Hegwer Killed in Hit-and-Run Crash on SH 123 in Guadalupe County

Dustin Ross Hegwer Killed in Guadalupe County Pedestrian Accident on SH 123 near FM 477

Guadalupe County, Texas (November 3, 2020) – A pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run crash on Halloween night in Guadalupe County, according to the Texas DPS.

The deadly accident happened around 7:35 p.m., October 31, on State Highway 123 north of FM 477.

DPS said a vehicle was heading northbound when it hit Dustin Ross Hegwer, 27, of Seguin, who was on the roadway.

Hegwer was also hit by another northbound vehicle.

A Marion woman who was driving a Lincoln Town Car stopped after hitting Hegwer.

Hegwer was pronounced dead at the scene.

No other injuries were reported.

The DPS is investigating the accident.
