Edrey Ramirez Killed, David Trawick Injured in Anderson County Two-Vehicle Crash on Highway 84

Anderson County, Texas (October 4, 2022) – One person was killed and another was injured Sunday morning in a head-on collision in Anderson County, according to the Texas DPS.

The fatal crash happened around 6:09 a.m., October 2, on Highway 84, approximately one mile west of Palestine.

DPS said a 2015 Nissan Sentra was traveling eastbound on the wrong side of the highway when it crashed head-on into a 2013 Ford F-350.

The Nissan driver, Edrey Hernandez Ramirez, 31, of Lindale, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Ford driver, David Trawick, 45, of Jacksonville, was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

The troopers are investigating the crash.
