Edwina King, Jolanda Silas Killed in Harris County Car Accident at Fallbrook Drive and TC Jester Boulevard

Harris County, Texas (April 29, 2019) – The two people who were killed Saturday afternoon in a two-car accident in northwest Harris County have been identified.
Edwina King, 52, and Jolanda Silas, 55, died in the deadly crash which was reported at about 2:07 p.m. Saturday, April 27, at 2599 Fallbrook Dr. and TC Jester Blvd. near Veterans Memorial Dr.
According to the authorities, a woman was stopped at the intersection where a car was blocking her view. She then pulled out onto Fallbrook Drive and her black vehicle was hit by a pickup truck driven by a 16-year-old boy.
King and Silas were among the occupants of the car. The two were pronounced dead at the scene. The other passenger, identified as Shawndra King, 52, sustained critical injuries.
The 16-year-old boy was transported to a hospital in stable condition.
An investigation to determine the cause of the crash is ongoing.
