Elizabeth Ramirez Killed in Pedestrian Crash on W Wadley Avenue in Midland

Elizabeth Ramirez ID’d as Woman Killed in Midland Pedestrian Accident on W Wadley Avenue

Midland, Texas (August 28, 2023) – The woman who died after she was struck by a vehicle mid of this month in Midland has been identified as Elizabeth G. Ramirez, 23.

The deadly accident happened at about 12:15 a.m. Friday, August 18, in the 3500 block of W Wadley Avenue, according to the Midland Police Department.

Police said Ramirez was crossing between Godfrey Street and Tarleton Street off Wadley when she was hit by a vehicle in the center eastbound lane.

Ramirez was transported to a Lubbock hospital with life-threatening injuries and succumbed to her injuries last weekend.

No further details about the crash were immediately provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
