Three Injured in NW Houston Two-Vehicle Crash at Hempstead Road and Fairbanks North Houston Road

Houston, Texas (October 2, 2020) – Three people, including an officer, were injured in a two-vehicle crash early Wednesday morning in northwest Houston, according to officials.

The crash happened around 12:02 a.m., September 30, at the intersection of Hempstead Road and Fairbanks North Houston Road.

Police said a Houston police officer was driving eastbound Hempstead Road with the emergency lights on when he collided with a vehicle that was traveling southbound on Fairbanks North Houston Road.

An adult and a juvenile passenger in the other vehicle were taken to the hospital as a precaution.

The officer was taken to the hospital with shoulder pain.

The police are investigating the crash.
