Emilee Bellow Hospitalized after Orange County Car Crash at FM 1135 and Japanese Lane
Orange County, Texas (May 22, 2019) – The driver who was seriously injured Tuesday morning in a multi-vehicle collision in Orange County has been identified as Emilee Bellow, 21, of Orange, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
The wreck happened at about 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 21 at the intersection of FM 1135 and Japanese Lane.
The DPS said a 2016 Dodge pickup truck driven by Elier Lopez, 48, of Pasadena, was heading westbound on Japanese Lane when Lopez drove through the intersection and hit a 2014 Hyundai passenger vehicle that was being driven southbound on FM 1135 by Bellow.
Bellow sustained major injuries and was taken by ambulance to St. Elizabeth hospital. Lopez was uninjured in the wreck.
Further details were not immediately available, and the crash remains under investigation.
