Cheryl Anderson Killed in Car Crash on Grape Creek Road in Tom Green County

Cheryl Anderson Killed in Tom Green County Two-Vehicle Crash on Grape Creek Road near FM 2105

Tom Green County, Texas (November 1, 2023) – A woman was killed Monday evening in a two-vehicle crash in Tom Green County, according to the Texas DPS.

The fatal crash happened on October 30, on Grape Creek Road near the intersection of FM 2105.

DPS said Cheryl Anderson, 37, of San Angelo, was driving southbound on Grape Creek Road when she failed to yield the right-of-way at a stop sign and collided with a pickup truck towing a trailer.

Anderson was pronounced dead at the scene. Her passenger, a 17-year-old male, was taken to Shannon Medical Center with serious injuries.

The pickup truck driver, Jose Ruiz, 27, of San Angelo, sustained minor injuries in the crash.

The DPS is investigating the crash.
