Jasmine Symon Campos Killed in Austin Two-Vehicle Crash on Howard Lane near Mopac

Austin, Texas (January 21, 2021) – The woman who was killed in a head-on collision last week Wednesday in Northwest Austin has been identified as 28-year-old Jasmine Symon Campos, according to police.

The fatal crash happened around 11:40 p.m., January 13, on Howard Lane near Mopac.

Police said Campos was driving westbound when she crashed head-on into an eastbound vehicle.

Campos was pronounced dead at the scene. 

The other driver was taken to St. David’s Round Rock Medical Center with serious injuries and is currently in stable condition.

The police are investigating the crash. Anyone with information about the crash is asked to call APD’s Vehicular Homicide Unit Detectives at (512) 974-6873.
