Kyle Strube Killed and Martha Trejo Injured in Denver City Two-Vehicle Crash on State Highway 214

Denver City, Texas (November 12, 2022) – The man who was injured Monday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash three miles north of Denver City has died, according to the authorities.

Kyle Ryan Strube, 34, died on Friday, November 11.

The fatal crash happened around 2:14 p.m., November 7, on State Highway 214.

Authorities said Strube was driving a Ford F-150 southbound while Martha Madero Trejo, 39, of Denver City, was driving northbound.

Trejo attempted to turn left into a parking lot in the 2400 block of the highway and pulled into the path of Strube, resulting in a collision.

Both drivers were not wearing their seatbelts at the time of the crash.

Trejo was taken to Yoakum County Hospital for treatment.

Strube was airlifted to Lubbock University Medical Center where he died at 10:35 a.m., on November 11.

No other information was available.

The crash remains under investigation.
