Eduardo Hernandez Killed in Stephenville Two-Vehicle Crash at U.S. 67 and CR 258

Stephenville, Texas (April 9, 2022) – A Dublin teenager was killed Thursday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash near Stephenville, according to the Texas DPS.

The fatal crash happened around 5:14 p.m., April 7, at the intersection of U.S. 67 and CR 258.

DPS said a 2014 Nissan Sentra was stopped in the crossover on U.S. 67 when it attempted to cross northbound traffic onto CR 258. It failed to yield the right-of-way to a northbound Chevrolet pickup truck, resulting in a collision.

The driver of the Sentra, 15-year-old Eduardo Hernandez of Dublin, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Chevrolet driver, Gage Robinson, 20, of Stephenville, was uninjured in the crash.

The DPS is investigating the crash.
