Two Injured in Irving 18-Wheeler Crash on Loop 12 near Irving Boulevard

Irving, Texas – Two people were injured Tuesday morning in an 18-wheeler crash in Irving, according to officials.

The crash occurred around 2:15 a.m., on Loop 12 near Irving Boulevard.

Officials said three vehicles, including two 18-wheelers, were involved in the crash.

The impact sent the cab of one of the 18-wheelers off the bridge. The tractor crashed onto the ground near the Trinity River.

One of the 18-wheelers burst into flames after the crash.

Two people were taken to local hospitals for treatment.

The crash closed all southbound lanes of Loop 12/Walton Walker Boulevard between Shady Grove in Irving and Singleton Boulevard in Dallas.

The crash remains under investigation.
