Esperanza Guillen Killed in Hit-and-Run Crash on CR 4191 in Lindale

Esperanza Guillen ID’d as Woman Killed in Lindale Car Crash on CR 4191

Lindale, Texas (July 6, 2022) – The woman who was killed in a hit-and-run crash early Monday morning in Lindale has been identified by the Texas Department of Public Safety.

Esperanza H. Guillen, 37, died in the crash that happened at around 2:09 a.m. on June 4 on CR 4191.

DPS said Guillen, a resident of Lindale, was driving a 2019 Zhejiang Tao Tao EVO 50 southbound on CR 4191 while a 2003 Buick Century was traveling northbound on the same road.

The Buick failed to give half of the roadway and hit Guillen’s vehicle.

Guillen was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the Buick did not stop to render aid to Guillen and fled the scene.

Police are still searching for the hit-and-run driver.

Further details regarding the collision were immediately provided.

The accident remains under investigation.
