Fernando Ramirez Killed, Perry Murray and Ray Clark Jr Injured in Blossom Two-Vehicle Crash on Highway 82
Blossom, Texas (August 4, 2020) – According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, one person was killed, and two others were injured in a two-vehicle crash early Monday morning in Blossom.
The fatal crash occurred around 12:01 a.m., August 3, on Highway 82.
DPS said Ray Clark Jr., 61, of Paris was driving a 2001 Buick westbound on the highway when he veered into the eastbound lane and struck a 2001 Ford Taurus driven by Perry Murray, 69 Clarksville.
Clark and Murray were taken to Paris Regional Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
Murray’s passenger, Fernando Ramirez, 68, of Clarksville, was pronounced dead at the scene. He was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
The crash remains under investigation.
