Francisco Higareda Killed in El Paso County Two-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 10

El Paso County, Texas (July 5, 2021) – The man who was killed early Saturday morning in a two-vehicle crash in El Paso County has been identified as Francisco Higareda, 69, according to the authorities.

The fatal crash happened around 2:45 a.m., July 3, on Interstate 10 near Anthony.

Authorities said two vehicles were traveling westbound on the interstate when one of the drivers switched lanes and rear-ended the other vehicle.

Higareda was pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash closed I-10 for several hours.

No further details regarding the crash were provided.
