George Robert Baldree Killed in Beaumont Two-Vehicle Crash on Highway 90 at Keith Road

Beaumont, Texas (October 5, 2019) – One person was killed in a two-vehicle crash Friday morning in Beaumont, according to the DPS.

The crash took place at about 7:30 a.m. October 4, on Highway 90 at Keith Road.

Troopers said George Robert Baldree, 61, of Beaumont, was driving a Ford Fusion southbound on Keith Road approaching the intersection where he came to a stop at a stop sign.  

Baldree failed to yield the right of way and pulled into the path of a dually pickup truck, which was westbound on US 90, resulting in a collision.

Baldree was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the dually pickup truck was uninjured in the crash.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
