2 Airlifted after Rusk County Oilfield Accident near Henderson
Rusk County, Texas (May 17, 2019) – Two workers were airlifted Monday morning after an oil field accident in Rusk County, a local news source reported.
The accident happened at about 9:00 a.m. May 16, near Henderson.
As per the report, two workers were working on a well, picking up piping on site, when the pipes separated, and a piece of the piping hit one of the workers in the head and the second worker in the back.
Both workers were airlifted to local hospitals for treatment.
An investigation is ongoing.
