Glen Prince, Daniel Olvera Killed in Corpus Christi Two-Vehicle Crash on State Highway 35 near Tivoli and Rockport

Corpus Christi, Texas (June 19, 2019) – Two people were killed in a wrong-way crash Wednesday morning in Corpus Christi, according to a local news source.

The fatal crash happened at about 5:30 a.m. on State Highway 35 between Tivoli and Rockport.

DPS said a Chevy Silverado truck was traveling northbound on SH 35 when, for unknown reasons, it drifted into the southbound side and collided head-on with an oncoming red Ford F-250.

The drivers of the Ford and Chevy, identified as Glen Franklin Prince, 62, of Port Lavaca, and Daniel Aaron Olvera, 27, of Corpus Christi, were both killed in the crash.

The DPS is investigating the crash.
