Hector Duran ID’d as Person Killed in New Caney Pedestrian Accident on McClesky Road
New Caney, Texas (March 4, 2019) –  The pedestrian who was struck and killed by a vehicle early Sunday morning in  New Caney has been identified as Joshua Givens, 17, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
The deadly hit-and-run accident happened at about 12:45 a.m. Sunday, March 3 on McClesky Road.
The DPS said Givens was walking on the eastbound side of McClesky Road when he was hit by a vehicle whose driver fled the scene.
Given died at the scene. The suspected motorist, identified as Logan Chase Foster, 23, turned himself on Sunday.
As per the report, Foster was charged with fleeing the scene without rendering aid causing death. His bond has been set to $100,000.
