Immanuel Lopez Seriously Injured in Lubbock Pedestrian Accident on 4th Street

Lubbock, Texas – According to the police, a man was seriously injured Tuesday morning in a pedestrian accident in Lubbock.

The accident happened around 7:30 a.m., March 5, in the 5800 block of 4th Street.

Police said 26-year-old Immanuel Lopez was attempting to walk northbound across the street when he was hit by an eastbound vehicle driven by 36-year-old Dezerae Ortiz.

Lopez was taken to University Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.

The police are investigating the crash.
